The 2025 espnW: Women + Sports Summit in Ojai, CA, was an inspiring and memorable event for women athletes and Toyota alike. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Toyota Everyday Heroes program, the company honored girls and women making meaningful contributions to sports. Each honoree received a $15,000 award in recognition of their achievements.

 

One of the biggest challenges parents face is finding dependable care for their children while they're at work. This can make it harder to advance in a career or take full advantage of professional opportunities. To help support working parents, Toyota offers its manufacturing team members convenient and expanded childcare options.

Through its Way Forward Fund (WFF), Toyota is committed to making a difference in the lives of children affected by traumatic brain injuries (TBIs). By offering essential financial support, the company helps ensure that these children receive timely diagnoses and the necessary treatment to manage both immediate and long-term effects.

 

The recent wildfires in California have been devastating for those affected, along with their families and friends. Support has been pouring in from across the state, nation, and world—including from corporations. Among these companies, Toyota has stepped up to provide assistance to those impacted by the fires. Each year, Toyota contributes to the American Red Cross and SBP, an organization dedicated to helping people and communities recover from natural disasters.
 

As part of Village Pointe Toyota's customer appreciation event, we're honored to be presenting the Patriot Award to our Service Director, Kyle Newsom. The award reflects the efforts made by an individual to support citizen warriors through a wide range of measures such as offering flexible schedules, time off before and after deployment, caring for their families, and granting leaves of absence if needed. Nominations are conducted through employees serving in the National Guard or Reserve, or the spouse of a Guard or Reserve member.

 

Since opening its doors in 1996, Project Harmony has helped neglected and abused children in Omaha, Nebraska, and the surrounding areas, including more than a dozen neighboring counties in Iowa. More than 200 on-site staff members proudly work at the group's main office in the heart of Nebraska's largest city.
