Village Pointe Toyota and Sammy’s Superheroes Foundation are teaming up to host the Glow Gold Honor Walk for Childhood Cancer. Join us Sunday, September 25, 2016 for a fun, family-friendly event to honor the children and families affected by childhood cancer. All proceeds go to funding childhood cancer research.
43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day. The goal with this event is to show support for these brave children and to remember the angels who were taken too soon. We also hope to raise more awareness for childhood cancer, as it often does not get the attention nor research backing it deserves. In fact, only 4% of federal cancer research funds are dedicated to childhood cancer.
As you may know, Sammy’s Superheroes Foundation is committed to funding childhood cancer research projects and increasing awareness for the cause. By attending this event, you’ll be helping the doctors and researchers who are selflessly working to find new and effective treatments specifically for cancers that affect children.
The Glow Gold Walk will be held at our Omaha dealership located on 18201 Cuming St. There will be delicious food and fun activities for the whole family, as well as an opportunity to meet Husker baseball players and Head Coach Darin Erstad.
