What's New for the 2023 Toyota GR Supra?

The new driving mode, the Hairpin Plus, has been added to the GR Supra. It modifies the steering input of the car and is said to be an exciting road driving experience. The goal of this mode is to maintain stability in a turn, making for a more fun drive. In addition to this new feature, the 2023 Toyota GR Supra will also receive a new trim called the A91-MT which features a six-speed manual transmission.

Steering and suspension are now tuned to be more responsive. The six-speed manual transmission is paired with the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six. It features an eight-speed automatic option with a manual gear selection where the driver can choose the gear they want to drive in.

What Are the 2023 GR Supra Trims & Features?

The 2023 Toyota GR Supra will come in 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, and A91-MT trim levels. The 2.0 trim will feature a 2.0 liter single-turbo inline 4-cylinder engine, 18-inch cast-aluminum wheels with a dual-tone finish, leather-trimmed sport seats, and a carbon-fiber interior trim. The 3.0 will feature a 3.0-liter inline 6-cylinder engine, adaptive variable sport suspension, 14-way power-adjustable seats with driver's seat memory function, and chassis braces in the engine bay.

The 3.0 Premium trim will feature the same engine as the 3.0 trim, a 12-speaker JBL stereo, full-color head-up display, and a Toyota Supra Connect trial. The new edition A91-MT trim will also feature the same 3.0-liter engine, red strut tower braces, a red Supra badge, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, and hazelnut-colored sports seats. All trims will come with a one-year complimentary NASA membership.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 GR Supra Have?

The base model 2.0 produces 255hp and 295lb-ft of torque with 8-speed automatic transmission. The 3.0 trim produces 382hp and 368lb-ft of torque with an intelligent manual or automatic transmission.

The 3.0 Premium trim produces the same power as the 3.0 trim but comes with a six-speed intelligent manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The A91-MT produces the same output as the 3.0 trim but only comes with a six-speed intelligent manual transmission.

What Safety Features Does the 2023 GR Supra Include?

The 2023 Toyota GR Supra includes a blind-spot monitoring system, an automatic pre-collision system, and adaptive cruise control. It also has automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and automatic high beams.
