What's New For the 2019 Toyota Sienna?

Most people wouldn't think of getting a minivan if they were after a cool, fun car, but the 2019 Toyota Sienna arrives with more power and technology than ever before. These features, along with a refreshed look and a stylish interior, certainly make it a contender for the coolest family car on the block. This year, every trim level of the Sienna comes standard with Toyota's award-winning safety amenities, including a Safety Sense package. Together, these features keep you and family members safe during a crash, or better yet prevent an accident from happening in the first place. A new, more powerful engine drives the Sienna forward, and it now comes with available all-wheel drive, which is a first among vehicles in its class. Along with the comforts available in the car this year, the revised suspension system features a smoother, more comfortable ride to make even your longest road trips more enjoyable.

Which Features are Available for 2019?

Seven trim levels are available in the 2019 Toyota Sienna. The base model is called the L. This model features a variety of standard amenities, including a seven-inch infotainment display screen with app connectivity and a user-friendly touchscreen interface. The driver also gets a separate 4.2-inch color information screen that provides up-to-the-minute performance information about the Sienna as well as information such as trip distance. A backup camera, which helps you reverse safely, comes standard this year.

The LE, which is the next trim level up, has a seating configuration that comfortably seats up to eight passengers. Its infotainment system is enhanced with a premier sound system. Starting with this trim level and up, you can also get all-wheel drive if you prefer. Instead of the regular LE trim, you can get a variation called LE with Auto Access Seat. This trim is similar to the LE, but it adds a power-rotating lift seat in the second row to accommodate passengers. It also has a dual-sliding door and a power-operated liftgate for convenience.

Following the LE is the SE. This trim level gives you a premier audio system with integrated dynamic navigation. It also has an app suite that pairs with your phone. The driver's information screen on this trim gets a sportier appearance with a special sport instrumentation panel. Moving up to the XLE, you'll get leather-trimmed seats and heated front seats with multiple heat settings. A keyless entry and push-button start are other handy features. Along with the infotainment system in the front seat, backseat passengers can enjoy an available Blu-Ray entertainment center. As with the LE, the XLE has a variation called Auto Access Seat. The layout of the minivan is similar, but the interior has the more upscale amenities as the regular XLE. Finally, the last model is the Limited. The Limited gives you higher-quality premium leather seats, as well as a more advanced infotainment system with dynamic navigation. With this trim level, you'll also get sonar-controlled front and rear parking assist.
