2018 Toyota Sienna Gets a Modern Makeover

Featuring a new shell, enhanced tech and advanced safety gear, 2018 Toyota Sienna reviews call the van "a top contender" in the ultra-competitive minivan segment. Starting on the outside, the family-favorite vehicle gets a facelift that gives it a more refined and sophisticated look. Toyota has revised the van's face, giving it a sharper, more aerodynamic appearance.

The crisp, clean lines flow seamlessly into the vehicle's rear, which also gets revamped taillights and more dynamic creases than the previous version. Aside from its stop-traffic good looks, the van also rolls into our dealership with enhanced safety gear and an improved infotainment system. Keep reading our 2018 Toyota Sienna review to see if this is the right van for you.

All Grades Are Well-Equipped

The van is offered in L, LE, SE, XLE and Limited trims. For 2018, every new Sienna comes standard with the latest version of Toyota's Entune technology interface for easier usage. On top of that, lower trims also now come with navigation via a phone-based app, along with a slew of other useful apps that are embedded in the Entune system.

Upper trims receive an onboard navigation system that offers service reminders. Other improvements include a newly available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot for up to five devices, along with five USB ports that make it easy to keep all your electronics charged and ready to go.

Other amenities on the 2018 Toyota Sienna in Omaha include tri-zone automatic climate control, a height-adjustable driver seat, tilt/telescoping steering, Bluetooth, Siri Eyes Free functionality and a four-speaker sound system.

A Powerful V6

The new Sienna packs an athletic V6 engine that was completely revamped last year. Capable of producing 296 horses and 263 pound-feet of torque, this dynamic powerplant will have no problem getting you and your family where you need to go in a hurry. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive can be had on select trims. All models utilize an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Advanced Safety Gear

Every 2018 Toyota Sienna in Omaha now comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense Plus technology. It includes lane departure alert and intervention, automatic emergency braking, lane departure alert and a frontal pre-collision system. Aside from these top-tier safety features, the van is also equipped with several high-quality airbags, a rearview camera and antilock brakes.
