What's new for the 2023 Toyota Sequoia?

For the 2023 model year, the Toyota Sequoia gets a few new standard features, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, there are also a few new optional features, such as a 12-speaker JBL audio system and a head-up display.

2023 Toyota Sequoia Trims and Features

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia will be available in five trims: the SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.


The base SR5 trim comes standard with LED headlights and taillights, keyless entry and ignition, tri-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, cloth upholstery, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker audio system.

TRD Sport

The TRD Sport trim adds to the SR5 trim with features like heated front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, a power moonroof, sport-tuned suspension, and 20-inch wheels.


The Limited trim builds on the features of the lower trims with even more luxury additions, such as perforated leather upholstery, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row captain's chairs, a 14-speaker JBL audio system, navigation, and a rear-seat entertainment system.


The range-topping Platinum trim comes with all the features of the lower trims plus even more premium additions like a head-up display, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, and front and rear parking sensors.

2023 Toyota Sequoia Horsepower

All trims of the 2023 Toyota Sequoia come standard with a twin-turbocharged V-6 hybrid I-FORCE MAX engine that produces 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a ten-speed automatic transmission and comes standard with rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive is an optional extra.

The 2023 Toyota Sequoia comes with a few safety features, including lane departure warning, automatic high-beam headlights, adaptive cruise control, and front and rear parking sensors. In addition, a blind-spot monitor and a 360-degree camera system are optional extras.
