This 12th corolla generation model sports the new 2.0-liter engine alternative and standard Android Auto ability. Most notably, the 2021 Corolla welcomes the new Apex Edition with sport suspension to the Corolla family.

2021 Toyota Corolla Trims and Features

Toyota provided the 2021 Toyota Corolla in six trim levels and two powertrain options. The trim levels include the L, LE, XLE, SE, SE Nightshade, XSE and Apex Edition. The SE Nightshade sports dark wheels, dark grill and other dark accents to complement your style, making its sleek and aggressive stance unique.

Emphasized by the honeycomb grille, the 18-inch alloy wheels give an unapologetic profile. The automobile headlights have LED DRL (Daytime Running Lights), and the LED backlights emanate iconic appearances. The seats and controls have been designed to boost visibility, and the leather-insulated steering offers a more comfortable driving experience. With a touch of a button, unveil the moonroof and take a gander at the stars or let the sun shine in.

Like other Corollas, this Toyota sedan has Entune 3.0 with Bluetooth, backup camera, USB port, power windows, and advanced cruise control. Depending on the trim, additional features include 18"/16" alloy wheels, SiriusXM radio, navigation, and Smart Key.

2021 Toyota Corolla Horsepower

The 2021 Corolla has a 1.8-liter, four-cylinder, base engine that outputs 139 horsepower. A 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine that emits 169 horsepower is also available as standard in higher trims. It's paired with the Dynamic-Shift CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) that merges the instant response of the attached first gear with CVT efficiency. The IMT (intelligent Manual Transmission) has six-speed gears for fast acceleration and higher gears up for maximum fuel cutback when driving. It also features the intelligent rev-matching function, which minimizes transmission shock during downshifting.

The fixed paddle lifters enable you alternate gears without getting your hands off the wheel. Light touches on either lever offer immediate gear shifts. You can also enable the Sport mode by pressing the Sport button. The engine control systems, as well as replicated shift points, have been redesigned for more fun on the wheel.

2021 Toyota Corolla Safety

This Corolla model enhances safety thanks to its RCTA (rear cross-traffic alert) and BSM (Blind Spot Monitor). The latter notifies you when a car in the other lane enters your Corolla's blindspot. The RCTA assists in detecting vehicles approaching by warning you with audible tones and side mirror notifications.

The Corolla is available with ten airbags that protect both the driver and passengers upon collision. The in-built Star Safety mechanism enables a merger of safety technologies that enhance braking, traction, etc. The car helps you stay away from accidents.

Also, note that this model comes with ToyotaCare that covers scheduled maintenance for 25,000 miles. It's also available with a Road Assistance service for two years.
