Which Trims are Available in 2019?

The 2019 Toyota Tundra is a large truck with a spacious interior. The three current trims available are the SR5, Limited and Platinum. Depending on the trim that you decide to take home, your truck will give you seating for up to six adults and either a short or long bed.

The SR5 is your entry-level Tundra, and it is loaded with a navigation system, a JBL audio system, manual climate control, air filtration, an integrated backup camera, steering wheel controls for wireless technology and the sound system, a JBL premium audio system, cloth seating, manual front seat adjustments, a gray grille, solar energy-absorbing glass, a deck rail, an easy-lift tailgate, daytime running lights, heated and power-adjustable black side mirrors, tailgate caps and more.

If you are looking for more out of your next truck, the Limited is a mid-level trim that adds onto the SR5 features. It is loaded with automatic climate control, leather interior, a leather steering wheel, power-adjustable and heated front seats, bumper end caps in chrome, chrome side mirrors and a silver grille. If you are interested in the top-of-the-line Tundra, the Platinum edition is sold with ventilated front seats, turn signals integrated into the side mirrors, a color-keyed bumper and a black honeycomb grille.

How Strong is the 2019 Toyota Tundra?

If you prefer the 2019 Toyota Tundra SR5, your truck will be loaded with a 4.6-liter, i-Force V8 engine with 310 horsepower. This is paired with variable valve timing, direct fuel injection, ACIS and an exhaust manifold in tubular stainless-steel.

The Limited and Platinum trims kick things up a notch with an upgraded version of the SR5 powertrain. This is a 5.7-liter gas-powered variant that delivers 381 horsepower. A few of the many other mechanical features in the new Tundra include rear-wheel drive, an ECT-I auto transmission, anti-lock brakes, coil springs, a heavy-duty battery and an independent suspension in the front and rear. These powertrains create considerably different driving experiences, so plan to get the behind the wheel and test both options when you visit our Toyota dealership.
