Maximized Amenity

Toyota has equipped every Tundra model with exceptional features like 18-inch steel wheels, daytime running lights, heated exterior mirrors, a damped tailgate, keyless entry and a windshield wiper de-icer. Climb aboard the truck and you'll find a variety of other top-notch standards, including a 6.1-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB port and six-speaker sound system. 2017 Toyota Tundra reviews praise the gear also found on upper trims: automatic dual-zone climate control, leather upholstery, navigation and an eight-way power driver seat.

Two Vivacious Engines

Buyers of the 2017 Toyota Tundra in Omaha will have the choice of two V8 engines. A 310-horsepower 4.6-liter V8 that makes 327 pound-feet of torque is standard on SR5 and SR extended-cab models. Here, towing capacity maxes out at 6,800 pounds when properly equipped.

A larger, 5.7-liter V8 that taps 381 horses and 401 pound-feet of torque can be found on all Limited, Platinum, 1794 and TRD Pro models with the regular cab. Towing capacity tops off at 10,500 pounds. Standard, the truck gets a six-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, while four-wheel drive with a two-speed transfer case can be had for an additional cost.

Antilock brakes, stability and traction control, trailer sway control, front side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, front knee airbags and a rearview camera come standard on the new Tundra.
